Apple Card Information - Account Services Unavailable

I applied for and was approved for the Apple Card. It's in my Wallet, I've used it and linked my bank account to it. I received the physical card and activated it.

Ever since I've had it, I've tried to go into the "Card Information" section of the Apple Card in my Wallet in order to get my card number and security code. Every time I try, I get a message stating "Account Services Unavailable - Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later". No matter how often I try, I get the same message.

I've contacted Apple Support and they've opened a case. They've verified that I have all of the appropriate settings, iOS 12.4, etc. They seem to be having a hard time coming up with a solution.

Has anyone had this issue? Any solutions? Thanks!

Solution:

Remove the Apple card by going to the Settings>wallet>Apple card>Remove card

it will warn you that this may impact your ability to manage the account. But don’t worry Apple card is linked to you icloud account so you can re add it.

Re-adding the Apple card will solve the issue.

That helps immensely. I hesitated to use this work around on the chance it amounted to applying for the Card a second time. Thanks for the clarification.

This problem has been fixed for me. I checked a few minutes ago and I am able to see all of my Apple Card information in my Wallet.

Me too. When I checked this morning, the Apple Card information had magically appeared in Wallet. I can even set up Card as the default for iTunes, iCloud, etc.

Issue has been fixed for me, something must have happened under the hood because I didn't update anything on my end.

Just glad it's finally resolved.

This also resolved my issue. I removed the card from wallet and then re-added it. Since the data is stored in iCloud, the card was available to add back in and then I was able to click on card information to retrieve the card info.
