Apple Bluetooth devices keep getting disconnected

I’m using a MacBook Pro 2018 with 32GB Ram. I use. A second monitor to edit, connected with Display Port to Usb-c and so I use an apple Magic Mouse 2 with an apple Bluetooth keyboard. They keep disconnecting, particularly the keyboard even though I’m using them all within arms reach on a desk.

I previously used a 2013 MacBook Pro for almost 5 years and never encountered a problem.

I’ve tried changing the MacBook riser so it allows much more all around access, resetting the Bluetooth (option + shift + click on Bluetooth icon in toolbar), disconnecting and reconnecting the devices but the keyboard disconnects at least once every 5 minutes.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Run Apple Diagnostic if it's a hardware related issue.

If it doesn't help, contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation to tell them about bluetooth issue you face with right now.
