Why can I airdrop to everyone but myself?

Since the purchase of a new iPhone x Plus a few months ago I can no longer airdrop images, web links from my devices. The reason is I can't see any of my devices when I go the airdrop menu. All the devices are all linked to the same iCloud account and I'm suspecting that might be the problem in some way. It all worked before the new phone showed up. Running a MacBook Pro 2014 with Mojove 10.14, iPad Pro with IOS 12.4 iPhone X Plus with IOS 12.4. I currently can airdrop to other people. Just not myself.

Hello downloadedit,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you have not been able to AirDrop to yourself on a different device. The following article has information about using AirDrop when sending content to yourself that you may find helpful:

Use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

"If you AirDrop content to yourself, like share a photo from your iPhone to your Mac, you won't see an option to Accept or Decline. The content is automatically sent to that device. Just make sure that both devices are signed in with the same Apple ID."

Best Regards.
