Siri No Longer Turns Room Lights on/off
I have three “Rooms” set up in Philips Hue and Apple Home. Siri can still control two of the “Rooms,” but yesterday Siri reported there’s a problem when I attempt to voice control either “Kitchen” or control any of the Philips bulbs in it individually. I CAN control “Kitchen” and/or it’s individual lights manually via Home or Hue. My iPad is the original source for Home and Hue. My iPhone XS has always worked as a Siri control for lights when I’m out of range of my HomePod’s hearing. I opened the Home app on iPhone and found a bogus room named “Ktchen” along with the “Kitchen” room. I deleted the bogus room and reloaded the lights back into “Kitchen” via Hue, which noted Siri and Home were now out of sync. It updated Home but the problem continued. How frustrating. A side variable is I ran the update for Hue in the middle of this silly mess, but the problem existed before that. Anyone else?
