What is hpd4deaf
On checking the network folder I found the following 'hpd4deaf' PC ?
I'm not sure what this is?
Has anyone come across this or know what it is?
Cheers

Interesting, the Mac never leaves the house and is only used by myself?
Not sure how this got onto the Mac?
After checking google this is the only thing that showed up!
The plot thickens ! I would like to remove it but I can't see how to!
Cheers

It looks like it's a network drive that someone else uses. The name hpd4deaf was probably made up by them.
If you try to connect to it you'll probably be prompted for their password which, of course, you won't know.
It also could be the printer on your network. My HP printer shows up that way.
Have a nice day.
Thank you for that Boyd ! Yes, it's the printer - - DOH !
It turns out that it's the HP Printer - cheers everyone !
