Mac mail rules not working if sent to more than one recipient

I have a rule set up to send an acknowledgement of receipt for one of my mailboxes. However, if the incoming email is addressed to more than one recipient, the rules fails to activate and send the 'auto-reply'. It is fine if I am the sole recipient.

mail rules allow only one entry -- all others disappeared I've had some form of this problem for about the last 6 months after years of loving apple mail rules. I can set all the rules I want and they will work fine for one application of them and then all but the first one disappears. I've deleted all rules and re-entered the ones I wanted...same issue. I have no idea where to go from here. Running one Mac Studio M1 ultra and two MBP's -- one m1 16 both with Ventura 13.2 and one intel 15 with Monterey with latest updates. thanks in advance for any ideas to try tom

macOS Mail rules not working as expected Hi, I have a fairly simple macOS Mac Mail rule. << If "any" of the following conditions are met -subject contains "newsletter" then "Perform the following actions:" -Forward email to xxx -Move to Folder xxx -Mark as read. >> Couple of things happen. The "Move to" part always becomes the first "action" and the "Forward" is not happening. If you replace "Forward" with "Resend" – which I would prefer – it is also not functioning... Try it for yourself if you have two email addresses. How can I get this working?

In the Rule is it if any of the following...

From: Contains

From: is equal to

You could use the little + icon two more times...

From: Contains: 1st@such&such

From: Contains: 2nd@such&such

From: Contains: 3rd@such&such

I already have "reply to" "Every Message" in the rule and have now added ("+") that "to" must contain the email address. That might work.
