Facebook crashing

Since installing the latest update to the iOS on my iPad Air 1, Facebook keeps crashing.

can I delete the update to go back to the previous one?

Sorry, but downgrading once you've updated isn't supported. It never has been supported.


Force close Facebook (along with all apps which may be running) by double tapping your home button to bring up the app switcher, then slide Facebook and any other apps upward to fully close them.


Then reboot your iPad by pressing and holding BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go and your iPad will reboot.


Once you sign back in, open Facebook and see if it is more stable.


Other things to check is how much free storage space is left on your iPad. Go to Settings > General > iPad Storage. If you only have a few GB of free space, you need to delete things from the iPad to free up space.
