Wacom Tablet older model GD-0608-U compatible with Mac air 2019?

I got new Macbook Air this year and I have an old Wacom tablet that used to work with my older 2013 Macbook Pro, I am trying to figure out how to make it work with the new air. The old utility (driver?) I used before no longer seems to allow the mouse to be controlled by the pen despite the tablet itself lighting up when the pen touches it. The computer told me that this "app" is a not compatible with the mac because my mac can run 64-bit apps, but I guess that means it won't run my 34-bi app. Is the problem the app utility (driver?) or the tablet itself? Any ideas of how to troubleshoot?

Hi gregab06,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble with your Wacom tablet. I’m happy to provide some information. According to their website, the driver for that tablet is only supported up to macOS 10.7:

Drivers | Wacom

If you have any further questions, you’ll want to reach out to Wacom.
