maps

When I use Apple maps for location/directions, my Apple watch goes into the same mode. This drains the battery quickly. How do I prevent my watch from doing maps/directions?

Watch ultra 2 compass doesn’t show parked car, but Apple Maps does I upgraded from Apple Watch 7 yesterday to the Apple Watch ultra 2. The “parked car on compass” feature worked fine until then. Since I am on the Apple watch ultra 2 (which I set up from a backup of my Apple Watch 7 and then updated it to watch OS 10.0.2.), the parked car location shows up on Apple Maps, both on my iPhone 13 and on the watch ultra 2, but it doesn’t show up in the compass app on the Apple Watch ultra 2, which is where I need it. can anyone help please? The typical advise on the settings in privacy and location are all set correctly (privacy and data / location services / system services / important locations) thanks ahead!

In your iPhone Watch App ....under My Watch.......scroll down to Maps and turn off.
