charging MacBook air

My MacBook air was working and charging fine and i plugged it in last night and it was at 10% this morning, I've had it plugged in all day when i got home from school it has stayed at 3-6%. the charger doesn't have a light on it and it has the lightening bolt through the battery but the drop down menu says its not charging.. I've reset it and ive tried to warm up the block...
