keyboard lighting is not working now since latest on my 2012 MacBook Pro

Does anyone have any insight or similar problems with the MacBook Pro 2012 keyboard and power button not illuminating after the most recent update?

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the issue, though not sure it'S caused by latest update.
