Is it possible to return my MacBook?

Hi,today I purchased macbook pro 13inch, 256ssd,1,4ghz processor and 8gb memory. Now I realized I should have upgraded to 16gb memory. I haven’t opened the pack yet. Is it possible to return it and get an upgraded macbook for $200 fee that apple normally charges for memory upgrade?

Mac Mini late 2014 cannot upgrade RAM At the end of 2018 I have ordered online a Mac-mini 8GB RAM. This was my first Mac after using Windows over 20 years. I don't remember I have been warned saying that the model I would receive will not have an upgradable RAM. Later I have discovered this very inconvenient issue. After 1 year of back-and-forth I feel scammed receiving a 4 year old non upgradable version with very poor performance, slow processor, non multi-task, no game possibility, terrible for Office Apps, Etc. This is the worst hardware I ever had. Then, Apple only says: sorry and offered $100.00 as recycling model.

If you purchased it today (or within 14 days) directly from Apple you should have no issues returning it. See: Returns & Refunds - Shopping Help - Apple

If you purchased from an Authorized Reseller, check with them for their return policy.
