All my work calendar entries ( gmail account sync) are gone from my Macs. Looks like a lot of others reporting same to Google. What is wrong with Apple & Gmail that there are these continuous problems?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
After three days, yesterday it looked like everyone had the calendar entries appear again. Reports that it was due to a Google outage - but who knows? Thankfully it's fixed.
It's a worldwide issue: I see it's been hitting people & businesses the past couple of days. Apple saying it's a Google problem.
Yes, it started when the last update was implemented this month. Seems like an Apple issue, not Google.
Ah... I haven't installed the Sed Upd 004 come to think of it.
