Discounted price message

I get the following message for apps I am trying to update - BTW they are free apps Uber, Facebook etc.


this discounted price is only available to customers who own

a previous version of this item. To purchase this item at full price, click buy


two options - cancel or buy


if I select buy the message repeats


Any ideas?

Since they are free, you can try deleting them and downloading them again. I have seen a couple of people say that worked for them.


If that doesn’t work, here is a copy and paste of another thread where King Penguin recommends doing this.

Contact iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
