I get the following message for apps I am trying to update - BTW they are free apps Uber, Facebook etc.

two options - cancel or buy
if I select buy the message repeats

Since they are free, you can try deleting them and downloading them again. I have seen a couple of people say that worked for them.

A lot of people have already reported the bug, but not everyone is facing it, and we couldn't figure out the scenario, seems like a problem is on Apple's side because nothing resolved an issue.
We recommended to contact Apple for that issue, but no one ever got back with the results.
