Mic doesn’t work correctly. iPhone8

So basically for the last couple months my mic hasn’t been working correctly and I’ve finally decided I should figure out how to fix it.

My mic doesn’t work for calls or voice memos but it does work for Siri, text to speech, and both directions of video. So I don’t think it could be a hardware issue but I also can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. Has anyone come across this issue before?
