Apple Music doesn't work on my Mac Pro system running El Capitan.

Apple Music doesn't work on my Mac Pro (early 2009) running 10.11.6.

iTunes is 12.8.2.3

Is this a temporary issue or has Apple decided to stop supporting my computer. Too bad it's a subscription service.

I'm having the same issue with exactly the same OS and iTunes version.

I spoke to Apple Support and they agreed that the issue is very likely incompatibility with El Capitan and older OS versions with the current version of Apple Music streaming. They do not have a fix or any suggestions.

The new overhaul of Apple Music is coming out in September so I'm hoping that fixes the issue.

Me too, both Mac Pro 5,1 and Macbook Pro on El Capitan, last iTunes version. An iTunes Music function just results in a blank screen. German Apple support is clueless. Somebody in another forum suggested that a downgrade to an older version of iTunes might work as a temporary fix. It's obviously a bug, I'm paying and suddenly can't use it anymore.

I have had the same issue now for several weeks and no fix available. I'm still paying for this and can't use it. My account is good and active and they still deduct my payments but nothing works. Seems it's only with El Capitan and my Mac Pro 4,1. Why can't they fix this??

You got our money now fix the darn thing please!
