Sorry if this question is asked a lot but I wondered if it is possible to use two sets of headphones (lightning type) with an iPad. For instance, on a plane so both people can listen to the film using headphones
i have searched splitters and they all say you can charge and audio at the same time but not both audio

According to what I had researched, If you connect 2 sets of lightning headphones to an iOS device (for e.g. iPad) using both the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the Lightning connector, audio will play only from the last one you connect so it’s not recommended to do so.
If the scenario is between 2 Bluetooth wireless headphones & an iOS device, you have to purchase a Bluetooth splitter in order to have audio on these 2 headphones.
