iMac stuck on Restarting while installing update 10.14.6

Hi

I’ve been trying to install the MacOS update 10.14.6 for a while now but it always get stuck on the “Restarting” part.

I have tried the automatic update first, stuck. Then I tried to download the update from Apple website and install it manually, stuck too. I tried like 5 times, left it for hours to see if it was just long but nothing works. I don’t know what else to try.

I never had any issue with the previous updates btw.

any idea how to solve that? I googled already but didn’t find any answers
