I am currently running Mojave and trying to create some room in my storage. I have a file called "instalace macOS Sierra" that is 4.7gb. I'd like to delete this but my system won't remove it. (I don't get any error message it just won't move to trash) Just curious if theres any reason why I shouldn't delete this? and if it's ok to delete how do I get rid of it?

I just noticed from your screen shot that you have "CleanMyMac X" installed. You should consider uninstalling it. It reportedly can cause operational problems on your Mac. I have never used it, but have heard many bad things about it. If you decide to uninstall it, use the developers uninstall instructions.

Could you provide a screenshot of the file that you are trying to delete?
The file may be the installation app for macOS Sierra. Depending on the screenshot you share you may be able to easily delete without any problems.
I have tried that multiple times. I’ve shut down and restarted multiple times. It just won’t go into the trash. I can’t “right click” and send it to trash either. It comes up ask asks for admin password. I enter and nothing happens.
Its the first file in the list. I assumed since i was running Mojave i wouldn't need the Sierra OS files?
It is the installer for macOS Sierra (10.12). You can safely delete it. Drag it to the Trash, then enter your administrative password to trash it. Empty the Trash.
