Removing Search Baron & SearchMarquis from pro book
How do I remove searchbaron & searchmarquis from Firefox on a MacBook Pro. Can't see them in Activity Monitor. Thanks

Thanks for your advice. Since this problem started a few weeks ago I had regularly checked Preferences & removed the rogue search engines if they were there.
Had a chat to Apple support and subsequently ran Malwarebytes. Despite that report saying x-number of dodgy issues was fixed, on restart up came Search Baron! So, did a basic Firefox reset and which seems to have removed both of those sites. Thanks again for your help.

A basic Firefox reset worked for me - see my full 28 August reply in this thread.
Search Baron has not returned.
I went to Preferences under Safari. In the box on the left was MacProtector which I deleted and that seems to have fixed the problem. I hope!
What was the advice?
