Just learned of security issue with iOS 12.4.1. and have updated iPhone 8 plus. Is there any way to know if I've got malware on the phone? I've been duped into loading CleanMyMac on my iMac which caused major issues and was a real problem to uninstall
thanks for your rapid replies....so much malware in this electronic universe. I have learned it necessary to be extremely careful agout downloading anything. Discovered this site a few weeks back when my iMac was freezing. I learned a LOT about OS and seem to have fixed issues. Yet I remain extremely aware of how easy it is to be duped into downloading web items.
You have to jailbreak the phone yourself, there's no way someone could do it remotely without a direct access to your phone. So, there's nothing to worry about.
There are no malware for an iPhone unless you jailbroke it.
how do I know if the phone has been jailbroke?
Did you jailbreak it?
Did you grant someone a full access to your device?
If "No" is the answer to both questions, you are safe.
