I cannot type anything in Terminal

Why I con not types anything in Terminal when it ask the passwords ? MocOS Mojava 10.14.6.

The sudo command will prompt for your administrator password with a key symbol. There is no echo of keystrokes as asterisks when you enter the password. It is entirely silent.

Did you try typing your password when it asked? The password is not echoed to the screen but it is being entered.
