MILITARY: Downloaded Apple Music won't play after 30 days with no wifi. Any options?

During deployment there is limited access to mobile network connection or wifi. After 30 days none of the downloaded music will play. Is there any way to bypass this, or is Apple Music working on way to accommodate active duty military subscribers who will be without internet access for 30+ days? Most civilians can't go a day without listening to music. It's even harder for those who are serving, and use music to keep their spirits up.

There’s a few steps you can try:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

in settings- iTunes App Store - your name - sign out- then sign back in

Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it off.

Close Settings.

Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.

Turn on “Show Apple Music”

And....

If the Music App isn’t responding

Make sure your iOS software up to date

  • Close the music app
  • in Settings- General- Reset - Reset Network Settings

Restart your iOS device
