Pop up Virus message

How can you tell or what can you do to find out if your iPhone is really infected with any type of virus because I got a pop-up message saying that my phone is compromised and has 39 viruses and my contact and my Sim card will be damaged if I don’t act soon after going on a popular car website.

All such popup messages are scams. Close the offending page, and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics.
