Pink display on projector

I just bought an IMac when I connect the usb-c/hdmi adapter to a HDMI splitter my Epson Projector turns a pink shade. When I connect the projector directly into the adapter it works fine. Unfortunately I need the other monitors connected as well.

Sometimes I get a red tint, some others a green tint, and some other a blue tint. The issues usually get resolved by restarting the computer, but I cannot restart every time there must be a way to solve this. Please do not send me the usual "if you have problems with your external display" link on the apple support website, I tried those solutions, they do not work. It seems to be some sort of driver issue with the USBC to HDMI adapter. Of course, there are no downloadable drivers for those.... so any other help? Thanks.

Pink screen issue on external monitor (macOS Catalina 10.15.5) Hello Team, I am facing issues when connecting 2nd Monitor as its showing pink screen mirrored with 1st Monitor. 1st Monitor works fine only 2nd monitor is having issues. Troubleshooting Steps done so far :- 1) Updated MacOS to version 10.15.5 (19F101) 2) Tried unplugging and plugging back the cables I am using docking station to connect to my monitors, If I remove HDMI cable on 1st monitor, 2nd Monitor who was having issues (using VGA adapter) is no longer having any issues and if i remove VGA Cable then Monitor 1 still works fine. 3) I have a Windows Laptop and it works fine on that 4) I had also tried modifying directory System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides by using video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDNvpYGIl_4 but that didn't help. sh-3.2# chmod 777 /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides/ chmod: Unable to change file mode on /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides/: Operation not permitted 5) on Display > Arrangement I see only 2 screens ideally there should be 3 I am guessing that could be the crux of the issue. Please let me know if there is any thing else you like me to try.

HDMI stopped working on a Mac mini dual screens Hey guys, I have a Mac mini with two screens. One is with the HDMI port and the other one is with a HDMI/USB-C adaptor. It worked for a few weeks with dual screens and suddenly, the HDMI port stopped working. I have changed the cable, tested every possibilities around and yes the monitor connected with the HDMI port is working fine with the HDMI/USB-C adaptor as well. I've been searching over the net and couldn't find answers to fix it. Is there anyone out here with a solution? If the HDMI port is dead, can I buy an other HDMI/USB-C adaptor to connect the 2nd screen? Thanks! Merci! Dan

Get another USB-C to HDMI adapter and bin the HDMI splitter.

try a > USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple

or a > Belkin USB-C to HDMI Adapter - Apple

I tried two different adapters and I also purchased a new Rocketfish splitter 4k compatible.

Please contact AppleCare and they can direct you to which adapter to purchase. Not all adapters are made alike, I suspect the issue is the adapter you are using.
