NOTES Typed Single Line Spacing, Are Double Line Spaced When Text Is Copied and Pasted

NOTES on my 10S iPhone that are typed single line spacing, are all double line spacing formatted when I copy and past the text of a NOTE into my email.

If I paste the NOTE, in to a text message, it is not double line spaced, then I can copy the note from text message and it will remove the double line spacing format sometimes. Is there some way I can stop NOTE from double line spacing a copy and pasted NOTE?
