Hi, I just bought the new 2019 MacBook Pro 13-inch 512GB. I noticed something rather weird (or annoying me), whenever I'm watching videos with dark scenes, the video quality becomes poor (becomes blocky and pixelated like the ones in the images below).
Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

So, I was screwing around with settings and found that if you go to system preferences>Displays>Display>Toggle off Automatically adjust brightness, and toggle off True Tone, Then click Night Shift and try turning that off. This seemed to significantly clear that horrible pixelated blotchyness.

I am having the same problem, and this 'expert' answer is not useful at all!!! I tried the things that where mention in the other post and nothing.
Any useful advice? I have a 2014 macbook air.

I cant find Apple RGB in display profile. There's Adobe RGB and sRGB

Great to hear! I found I had to redo the setting every now again to keep it working but I’m glad it’s helped.
So on a MBP 2019 13" it appears after all I played with in settings that the least pixelated viewing of streaming on Netflix or Prime only happens in Safari. ( on Mojave) I think the fact that flash is still a component in Chrome, Firefox doesn't play well with the Mac OS ( no supportive of Flash).
