No Sound When Connected to Car Charger

When my iPhone 7+ iTunes songs are synced to my car stereo through bluetooth they stop playing when I connect the car charger to the phone. The songs on the phone continue playing but no sound from either the phone or the car speakers.

So I can only listen while driving until battery depletes?

iPhone music plays, then pauses, when I plug it into my car's USB When I turn on my car and plug my iPhone XS into the USB port, the music I was previously listening to immediately starts playing on the car speakers, which is what I want. Poor sound quality in my car Hi everyone, When I connect my iPhone 14 Pro to my car the quality of the music isn't super good and I have to boost the volume to get better quality. I've tried both Bluetooth and USB and no difference. I just tried with an old Samsung Galaxy S7 and it's a plug and play! The sound is loud and clear and I don't need to adujst anything like my iPhone. Also, both devices runs the latest OS version and latest Apple Music app. Any idea what could cause this ? Many iPhone users around me also experienced this situation. Any help would be appreciated.

this has happened to me too. Double check 2 things - just make sure the mute switch is not activated - L side of phone. They swipe up to get to the control center and make sure that the car audio is selected.
