Stoping Chrome from auto-launching

Try this:

• Click on the apple icon at the menubar
• click on SystemPreferences
• click on Users and groups
• unlock the padlock on the bottom left
• click on Loggin in
• if you find Chrome here: select it and remove it by clicking on the - sign

How to Stop Auto Launch of Apps

Quit Chrome before you shut down.

Or, uncheck the box to reopen windows when restarting in the shutdown/restart dialog.
