mainstage 3 cpu usage?

How much cpu power should Mainstage 3 use? Last night, Mainstage 3 was using up to 58%. At times, it went down to 39 %.

MacBook Pro, 17" early 2011, 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333MHz DDR3.

I would call the developers for help. It's not an Apple product. Is it compatible with the version of macOS installed on your computer? Check for updates. See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.

I've been using Mainstage for at least two years on my live gigs. I play 4-5 nights per week. It seems since the last two updates, I've started having issues. I also use Reason 10 at the same time, and now it seems because of the processing power used by Mainstage, it slows my computer down.
