I was Abandoned by Apple-Where do you get the Promised Service.

Has anyone else been placed into restriction for no apparent reason, then abandoned by Apple? It has taken me days and hours on the phone to get my card working again. Thank God I had a Visa along when Apple failed so badly. Is there somewhere other than the telephone number and messaging in the Walket App that will actually solve the issue?

The problem wasn’t hardware, it was the poorly executed customer services for the Apple Card. After they started declining my purchases despite having $18,000 credit left, I couldn’t get anyone to explain why the card was restricted or why it would take a week to review the restriction once I identified that there were no unauthorized purchases on the card.


Since I was using it to purchase a dinner with a client, I was embarrassed that they would think I was

not credit worthy. There was a lost business opportunity. I thought I should get either an apology or an explanation. I got neither. Very poor customer service that wasn’t fixable at the Genius Bar.


i have significantly greater credit on my AmEx card I have used since 2001 and a FICO score of 850. If Apple can’t deliver promised services, AmEx will return to be my goto card for my business.
