Apple Watch issue

The battery in my first gen Apple Watch swelled and the face popped off. I purchased it after the issue was first discovered (without knowledge of the issue). Would this be covered under warranty? Or am I out the money to fix it!?

Only Apple will make that determination.

Call Apple Care and find out if your watch is covered by a replacement program. 1-800-MY-APPLE.
