When sending an email with an excel attachment, the person receiving the email has a different attachment to the one I sent. I t is correct in my sent folder - but different in the receiver's mail. How can this happen?

It can't happen. Either you are attaching the wrong excel file or the receiver is opening the wrong email. Or are you saying the receiver excel file is the same file but formatted differently? If formatting is the issue then the receiver is using a different app to open the file and this app does not handle the formatting in the same way your app that created the excel file does.

Hi, I think that I have the same problem. I sent a simple excel file via email from a PC to an Ipad. The email viewer does not "Translate" the format correctly. In the original sheet I have a cell that reeds "$400", the Ipad viewer shows "0". If i try to open it with Excel, I still see "0" where "$400" should be.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
