How to remove kaspersky popups on startup

I removed kaspersky internet software from me iMac. Then every time I restarted my mac, kaspersky popups kept appearing. I scoured the internet and could not find a solution until the following:

I came across this free download of Funter https://nektony.com/products/funter/download. Download the free software / install and open funter and type in kaspersky (top right) and I was amazed at how many files came up. I deleted the kaspersky files and solved the problem.
