MacBook Pro vs iPad Pro

Which would you use for video editing with iMovie? Does the iPad Pro run a full version of iMovie?

iMovie MacBook Pro is a more powerful app than the one found on the iPad. So I would go with the MacBook Pro for editing. However, you can edit on the iPad and then use Air Drop or iCloud Drive to transfer the project to iMovie MacBook Pro, where you can then open it as an iMovie MacBook Project and continue to edit it there.
