iPad Pro 12.9 Screen Light Bleed

My screen also has this issue, which I've seen posted a few other places. When I took it to an Apple store, they had a technician look at it and told me the screen was fine, maybe a few bad pixels, and offered me a credit if I traded it in for a new one. It's a little over (2) years old. I've brought in the original one I bought because the touchscreen stopped responding. They replaced it on the spot. I don't understand why they're giving me the run around this time.

Mine was purchased 2018, ipad pro 12.9 2nd gen, used withe care always, have case and screen protectors all the time.

I started to notice the screen bleeding issue from 3,4 months ago, it started with one spot on edge, then slowly across the whole half edge.

Now, I have purchased the latest 4th gen ipad pro 12.9, and expect to trade-in my current ipad pro 12.9.

Unfortunately, the trade-in guy revised the price to 0, claiming that my old ipad pro backlit doesn't work....

So disappointed.

I have macbook pros, owned ipad 2, mini, pro 10.5, ipad 7, macbook pro retina, imac, two airpods, multiple iphone 5 to iphone 7 iphone XR. This ipad pro 12.9 2nd gen is the first product that has problem in two years.

The only way to get Apple to, DIRECTLY, listen to you is to use their feedback portion of their website.

iPad Feedback

http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

Cognizant Apple employees read ALL feedback generated from all of the various feedback pages and transfers the data to the proper and responsible Apple teams and personnel, but NO Apple employees will ever respond with any type of direct, individual replies from the feedback you post.

The more users that post product feedback about any product issue, the faster Apple, in California, is made aware and starts working on a fix/solution for a futuresoftware update.

Also, you may want to phone contact Apple, directly in Cupertino, California, and calmly talk to an Apple customer service employee about this issue via the contact link below.

Good Luck to You!
