In-app purchases

I'm the developer of a MacOS app, and some of my users have been getting this error message the last few days when trying to buy an In App Purchase Subscription.

I have no idea what is causing this error, it seems a major issue with the App Store.

The only thing that seems to make it work is deleting the app completely and reinstalling it from the App Store again.

Delete the app you are trying to make a purchase in, and redownload it from the App Store.

im really surprised Apple still hasn’t fixed this issue :(

Can you file a bug report then attach the report number please. Apple are looking into this but the more information they have the better it is.

You’d need to speak to the developer of the game. Deleting an app deletes everything from the device, but a lot of games store progress on central servers.

You should also speak to Apple about this bug if you are not able to make an In App Purchase. The more bug reports they get, the more chance they will fix it.

We have had hundreds of users having this issue with our latest app update (that was released on the 5th of september).

Most of users who had the app before the update can't do any in-app purchase anymore. New users, on the other hand, have no issue.

Apple, anyone? This is a seriously big issue :(

If you "delete" the app it always says "you will lose ALL data" when you delete. Some have hundreds of dollars spent on apps and games.....Is there a way to delete the app without losing all data and saved, levels, games, money spent etc?

I keep getting this message on my macbook, “in-app purchase is not supported. Device licensed app does not support in-app purchase” and I have no idea how to fix it, anyone know how?

I have the same issue for the last 2-3 days when trying to make a purchase in-app (Tank Blitz) I receive the following error. In app purchase is not supported. Machine licensed app does not support in-app purchase. Only option is to click "OK". After doing to so the following Tank Blitz message is "Service unavailable, please try again"
