Broken Thunderbolt 2 Plug on Lacie Rugged 4TB Hard Drive

While plugged into my laptop the drive fell to the floor with the computer and the thunderbolt 2 plug bent so badly that it is not recognized by any computer now. Luckily drive has a USB 3.0 port so I plugged that into a computer and still not being recognized.

Does the drive need to be powered by AC power cable when using USB 3.0? With the the Thunderbolt 2 it powered itself.

Say I need one and I get one and it still doesn’t work? Is there anyway for Lacie to help me Install a new Thunderbolt 2 cable to it? I saw others have had this same problem. The footage on this drive is irreplaceable. Definitely need to find a way to get the drive spinning and recognized by a computer
