My microphone on my iPhone 7 isn’t working AT ALL!! I’ve tried checking the things blocking it like my case and any debris in it. I’ve also tried the newest software update and just resetting it too. Siri won’t work, voice memos won’t work and neither will calling or FaceTiming. They just end after a couple of seconds without even connecting. Please help!!!

My microphone problem kept happening for maybe 1 week then I went home and my phone kept shutting down without notice at 57%. When it restarted the top left corner said “no service” or “no sim” when there was one there and I took it into apple and they replaced the motherboard for free within a week. Giving a replacement phone for the time given. I went into apple asking about the mic problem and they said it would cost $300 to fix. I would wait a little bit and see if it is a mother board problem.
my wife's iPhone 7 microphone has stop working, phone is in very good condition, no too much dust in holes, no hits, always with case… we did reboot, reset, update iOS.. it seems it' a common problem iPhone 7 are facing, as they said in the 2 shops I went to fix it. I have an appointment with the Genius, let see what they say
I bring the iPhone to some unofficial Apple services and they told me there are a lot of problems like that, as soon as I said "my microphone is not working" they replied "it's an iPhone 7?, there are a lot of problems like that in iPhone 7, " then I bring it to an official Apple service and they told me they don't fix this and I only could apply to an exchange (for 361€ and one year of warranty)
the warranty ended in May…
