sounds and haptics on iPhone

My sounds on iPhone 8 have stopped working. When I go into settings and manually check sound levels they are at maximum, but the phone does not alert me to new email, nor do I get the "swoosh" sound when I send email. This problem is a new one - just 2 days.

Mail app sound not working for new incoming emails Mail app sound is not working for new incoming email, if email is from VIP list, it will give sound but for other new email there no sound. I read few post on apple community but none of them worked. Anyone has any suggestion/solution for this issue? Already tried following things but no luck: Restarted iPhone Delete and configured Main all again Device: Iphone 8 Software version: 13.3.1

Is your "mute" switch on? Check it (the one above volume buttons).

Shouldn't be this case, check Settings>Notifications and adjust the sounds there.
