How do I upload my existing iTunes playlists to Apple Music?

I want to add Apple Music as a source for my Sonos app, since they no longer support iTunes playlists.

Thanks. M.

For Sonos to be able to play Apple Music, your music has to be synced with iCloud. On a Mac this is easily done. Launch iTunes, select File from the menu, then Library, then Update iCloud Music Library. You will find it useful to select View from the iTunes menu, Select View options, and then in the right column put a checkmark in the option "iCloud Download". Then check this page to see what the iCloud icons mean: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203564

Once your music is synced with iCloud Music your playlists will also sync and you'll be able to play them through AppleMusic on Sonos. Note: depending on the size of your music collection, the sync process can take a while. You may need to return to the Update iCloud Music Library option more than once to restart the sync process.
