what is i1Profiler?

I've seen several posts about uninstalling i1Profiler from xrite, etc. But what does it do? Is it worth keeping? Should I allow system software from "SFNT Germany GmbH" to load?

The kernel driver listed is the correct one for i1Profiler.

The purpose of it is to create color profiles for monitors, printers, digital cameras, digital projectors, scanners, and anything else you can attach to a computer that captures, emits, or prints color.

i1Profiler is useless without the necessary profiling hardware to measure any of the above devices. If you have none, then you may as well uninstall it. Use the uninstall script directly from X-Rite to make sure the entire app is removed.
