GPU Reset/Bridge OS

Hello,

Ever since I purchased my iMac Pro, it constantly restarts when idle. (I walk away for 3-4 minutes). The remedy I've found is to leave a YouTube video open (I select 24 hour timer), and that seems to have worked. I took my computer into the Apple Store twice. The first time, they replaced the logic board and power supply. The second time, they said they could not reproduce the error. I feel I have a lemon. Anyone else in the same boat? Now in recent weeks, it appears that the YouTube video doesn’t always remedy the situation...

That's strange for sure. I'd check your Energy saver settings under system preferences (looks like a lightbulb) and see what's that's set to. Maybe check under accounts to see if there are any startup items that could be causing it. Otherwise, maybe do a reset smc/pmu and zap pram (for what it's worth)

here's the info on that (apple link follows)

you maybe have a lemon. If you have applecare+, you have up to a year's tecnical support and the warranty is extended to 3 years. apart from calling someone, or taking it in after making a genius bar appointment I don't what else to suggest.

good luck
