iPad Air 2. When Smart Keyboard is attached it will not auto-capitalize the letter “i”. It works fine when i use the on-screen keyboard, but when i attach the Smart Keyboard the letter i will not auto-capitalize. I use this to write a lot of emails and other things for work, daily. Can anybody help me with this? It’s super annoying.
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard
What are you using as the native keyboard? You should be using English (United States) > Qwerty
Also if you use Emoji's, you should have that there as well.
I’ve been there several times. It’s on. It will not automatically capitalize the letter i. Such as “i am going to get gas after i get in my car, but first i need to find my wallet”........ none of the “i” will capitalize in the middle of a sentence. It only works at the beginning.
Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Turn on Auto-Capitalization
