My title bar keeps disappearing!

As per my subject matter....my title bar remains hidden until I point my cursor to where it should be sitting. It appears then immediately disappears. The same with Word.

Need help please. Thanks

System Preferences> General uncheck Automatically Hide and Show the menubar.

Unless of course you are in Full Screen Mode, it is the intended behaviour and cannot be altered.
