I have bought series 1 AirPods. They pair fine through iPad or iPhone Bluetooth settings. My problem is no other settings appear when I tap the info icon ... just the disconnect and forget this device options. Are these AirPod options not available on series 1 pods. They also do not appear on Find my IPhone. Tried turning this off and on on all my devices.

Thanks, but no joy !! ....... This is my problem. The airpods pair, displaying “Airpods” in Bluetooth list, but tapping the (i) icon only brings up only 2 options ... Disconnect or Forget this device. No amount of disconnecting or forgetting or repairing gives me any other settings to change. Once paired, the ‘pods work fine. Single tap stops/starts current music. Double tap redials last number dialled ... embarrassing but no way to change it. I cannot change the name or anything else. I just don’t have the settings list everybody else has. This scenario is exactly the same on iPad and iPhone. As an additional issue, the Airpods don’t show up as a device on ‘Find My Phone”. I would just go to Apple Store but I am out about 200 miles away so not currently an option !!
