Logged in as admin, can't unlock settings in System Preferences? I am Logged in as the admin account, but I can't unlock settings in System Preferences? I click on the lock in all of the System preferences that require unlocking the lock to make changes, but I get no response. Also, I can not load any new app software.

Can not change Admin password for system preferences because I do not remember old password
