When using my Airpods, I can hear perfectly, but callers say my voice is distorted. It is also distorted when I record voice messages on WhatsApp. I haven't tested them otherwise.
As of 9/2019, I have firmware version 6.7.8 for the Airpods.
I can't find stated anywhere what the latest version of the Airpods firmware is.
