Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Some, not all, of recent emails in my inbox and sent box are blacked out when I reopen them, not the full screen just the email rectangles. previously linked emails are also blacked out.
This is the first time I have this problem.
I tried Shut Down and Restart but the problem persists.
MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2011)

Resetting the SMC:
Display malfunction issues like this occur when the SMC gets all mis-configured. So, resetting the SMC may have done the trick as well.

What do you mean by “blacked out?” Is it suddenly empty (apparently)? Or is li literally all colored “black”?
