That’s not what my keyboard looks like. On the alpha keyboard I see lower case letters and a few punctuation marks. I can hit shift and have upper case letters displayed. If I select the numeric keyboard here’s what I get:
Yes, with interesting results. Keeping my finger on the ‘!/,’ key provides the option to make a single quote or an inverted exclamation point (used in writing Spanish). Doing the same to the’?/.’ key ' lets me chose an inverted question mark (also used in Spanish), an ellipsis or a double quote. But not the shifted character. It’s been like this through several ios updates. I keep thinking it’s a bug and Apple will find it and fix it, but not yet. Is the keyboard you illustrated from an iPad Air?
I am surprised if the shift keys are missing. However simply keep your finger on the key until the shifted character appears, then release.
Okay, did you try “However simply keep your finger on the key until the shifted character appears, then release. “
Sorry, I will leave it to others more knowledgeable. My keyboard is from iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen 12.4.1.
Thanks anyway.
